A poinant ballad set in the american civil war.... tells the tale of a young union soldier who makes his way back home to his hometown. he sees his sweetheart...but she will not look at or talk to him as if sh cannot see him. he tells her it is him under all "this grey".. and pleads with her fr to hold her... for a farewell kiss... to know avail.. then the sounds of the "bugle" is calling him knows he must soon return ... A ghostly tale and a sad one...
