So, these are the red flags of a back pain. The first one is the saddle anesthesia. Saddle anesthesia means the numbness and loss of sensation in the buttocks, perineum and the inner surfaces of the thigh. The second one is the urinary incontinence. The third one is the neurological deficit, which means the abnormal function. Fourth one are the systemic manifestations, that is weight loss, fever, night sweats, etc. Fifth one is the history of malignancy. Sixth is the IV drug user and seventh is osteoporosis.
