VOSS ON THE ROCKS

I first encountered the Lars Ek Hot Trio in the fall of 1982. This encounter occurred in Bergen at the annual TREKKSPILLGALLA accordionist registration event held in Grieghallen, where Lars Ek was previously unknown. Over the years, it's become customary to have a touch of Swedish influence during these autumnal gatherings. Notable names such as Ebbe Jularbo, Roland Cedermark, and Norwegian-Swede Olaf Wernersen have graced the event. However, none have managed to captivate the audience quite like the Lars Ek Hot Trio. It was truly a unique experience to witness the "original" Frosini.
