This is a rendition of the Latin hymn 'O Sanctissima', dedicated to the Virgin Mary and traditionally sung during her feast days as well as Christmas. It's also performed in various languages for similar celebrations. In this version, the music has been specially arranged for a clarinet and guitar. The hymn's lyrics 'O sanctissima, o piissima, dulcis Virgo Maria! Mater amata, intemerata, ora, ora pro nobis. Tu solatium et refugium, Virgo Mater Maria. Quidquid optamus, per te speramus; ora, ora pro nobis' translate roughly to 'O most holy, O most loving, sweet Virgin Mary, beloved Mother, undefiled, pray, pray for us. You are the solace and refuge, Virgin Mother Mary. Whatever we hope, through you we hope; pray, pray for us'.
