This audio is based on a Christmas carol which has been composed and arranged by multiple composers including King John IV of Portugal (1604–1656) and John Francis Wade (1711–1786), but likely has roots in much earlier times. The variations I've made are: Verse 1: Performed in 4/4 time signature, in a major key, with the melody played on the first flute, following Wade's harmonisation Verse 2: Executed in 4/4 time, in a minor key, with an embellished melody on the first flute Verse 3: Played in 3/4 time, in a major key, with the melody carried by the alto flute Verse 4: Presented in 3/4 time, in a minor key, with the melody interpreted by the bass flute Verse 5: Performed in 4/4 time, in a major key, with the tune on the second flute.
