Two Pieces in Scott Joplin Style

Inspired by the mountainous hiking trails of Colorado, the two compositions, Vista Point and Squirrel Creek, pay homage to the remnants of two 1920s lodges that were later destroyed by fire. The concept revolves around the idea that these lodges would have housed a piano, possibly playing the works of Scott Joplin, a common choice for pianists of that time.
