Lars Ek, one of the top accordionists in Sweden, is widely recognized for his excellent renditions of works by Pietro Frosini, Nisse Lind, as well as his own collection of over 100 original compositions. Originally from Stockholm, Lars began his journey with the accordion at the tender age of 5. By the following year, in 1953, he made his debut on the radio, and by 1958, he had made his first television appearance. Throughout his career, Lars has filled various roles as an accordionist, including those of a teacher and accompanist for numerous artists. He has extensively toured both within Sweden and internationally.
