This is an adaptation of Maurice Greene's hymn, "Thou visitest the Earth", organized for alto, choir and harpsichord. Originally, it was intended for tenor, choir, and keyboard and is commonly performed at harvest festivals. The lyrics are a repetition of gratitude, acknowledging blessings and crowning the year with goodness.
