The Prayer of the Accordion

Lars Ek, one of the top accordionists in Sweden, is recognized for his excellent renditions of pieces by Pietro Frosini, Nisse Lind, along with over 100 of his own compositions. Originally from Stockholm, Lars started playing the accordion at the age of five and made his radio debut a year later in 1953, followed by his television debut in 1958. In addition to performing, Lars has worked in various capacities such as a teacher, an accompanist for a range of artists, and has extensively toured both within Sweden and internationally.
