The Poohratorio (Winnie the Pooh - the Expotition to the North Pole) (mp3)

Check out my 1976 Oratorio based on Winnie the Pooh, alternatively known as Poohratorio. It features an alto voice, spoken sections, guitar, and a selection of other optional instruments. Suitable for both children and adults, it brings fun and entertainment. The composition utilizes the entire Chapter 8 of A A Milne's "Now we are six" - "The Expedition to the North Pole", which is currently in the public domain in the USA. Chapter 8 is titled "In which Christopher Robin Leads an Expedition to the North Pole". It begins with Pooh climbing to the top of the forest to visit his friend Christopher Robin.
