Details
This is an adaptation of the poem La cigale et la fourmi by La Fontaine that incorporates an English narrator and is complemented by the sounds of a clarinet, bassoon, and piano. Additionally, a version with a French narrator is accessible on this platform. The narrative follows the Grasshopper, who spent her delightful summer in a lethargic melody and found herself devoid of food when the harsh winter arrived. She was unable to find even a tiny worm or a scant fly to eat. Overwhelmed by hunger, she decided to express her need to her neighboring Mad.
