The eminent Theobald Böhm (1794-1881) crafted an exceptional adaptation of Schubert's Serenade (Ständchen - "Leise flehen meine Lieder") for concert flute and piano, drawing inspiration from Liszt's piano rendition. My version for clarinet and guitar broadens the original, aligning closely with Böhm's arrangement, thereby enabling the melody instrument to flourish into lyrical variations of the tune. Performed impressively by Balázs Rumy on the clarinet and András Csáki on the guitar.
