Lars Ek, hailing from Stockholm, is recognized as one of Sweden's premier accordionists. He is renowned for his exceptional interpretations of works by Pietro Frosini, Nisse Lind, as well as his own impressive catalogue of over 100 compositions. Lars began his journey with the accordion at the tender age of 5 and made his radio debut a year later in 1953, with his television debut following in 1958. In his expansive career, Lars has been an accordionist in various capacities, including serving as a teacher, accompanist for a variety of artists, and has embarked on numerous tours both domestically and internationally. His journey with the accordion remains ongoing.
