Royal Gorge Trails

Royal Gorge Trails comprises ten brief compositions, each inspired by the intriguingly named hiking trails at Royal Gorge Park, situated near Cañon City, Colorado. The pieces, designed to be relatively easy, are arranged for a variety of instruments including classical guitar ensemble, guitar with oboe, duets of flute and recorder, as well as a recorder quartet. The entire set takes about 14 minutes to perform. In this particular recording, the composer himself performs all guitar and percussion parts.
