This is a musical arrangement for piano and bass-baritone, inspired by a poem penned by an anonymous Kurdish poet who uses the pseudonym Iskan Acicka. It's one of the numerous interpretations I have created based on this poem. It speaks of a rose residing in my garden, Its crimson bloom mirrors the blossoming in my heart, Cheeks flushed like a youthful pomegranate sapling, Which embraces the earth with springtime's love, It's akin to the ascension of the sun in the heavens, Both shedding tears, both expressing love from deep within, Just as a moon ascends into the dark night sky, Like a summer downpour nurturing my garden's rose.
