Requiem (World Liturgical Premiere Recording) Part I

Details

This is the first part of the debut global liturgical recording of William Hawley's Requiem Commemoratio Omnium Fidelium Defunctorum for Chorus, Orchestra, and Organ, a work commissioned by St. Dominic's Catholic Church in San Francisco. The initial performance took place on All Souls' Day, November 2, 2007, at St. Dominic's, featuring the St. Dominic's Solemn Mass Choir, the San Francisco Choral Artists, and the St. Dominic's Festival Orchestra, under the baton of Simon Berry. The durations of the three movements of Part I are provided.
