The rendition of "Railway Song" is part of a vibrant and illustrative set of quartets (and one septet), all inspired by the Swabian folk tune "Auf de schwäb'sche Eisebahne," or "on the Swabian railway," from the Tübinger Kommersbuch 1853. This musical arrangement also replicates the acceleration and deceleration of the train, along with its whistles. The performance is by The Budapest Scoring Clarinet Ensemble.
