This is the subsequent installment in the "Inventions" collection, authored by my imaginary persona, Professor Burble, crafted during the 1970s to house my more daring musical pieces. The initial inspiration for the melody was derived from a note handed to me by the so-called 'Princess' from Pembroke College, situated in Oxford, in 1972. This melody surfaced in several later pieces, encompassing a tuba quartet and a brief narrative titled the Duchess' Tune.
