Jeremiah Bornfield has created this interpretation based on the chamber orchestra arrangement of my work by Colin Bayliss. Initially, the piece was composed for a recorder orchestra. The musical piece draws its inspiration from a poem by e e cummings that goes: There lived a man in a beautiful town, Where bells softly floated down, Through each season, he sang and danced, Showing his joy, his life enhanced. Both women and men, regardless of size, Cared little for him, to no one's surprise, They continued to sow their seeds of indifference, In this man's life, they made no difference.
