This is the first-ever live recording of "Ore, fermate il volo," a madrigal from William Hawley's <em>Seven Madrigals</em>. The performance, recorded in its original key for ATBar.B voices, was created for the Chanticleer vocal ensemble in 1986. All seven live recordings from the first performance are available on this site for individual download by title, including the original handwritten music score. Please note that these first performance recordings and the handwritten score are separate from Hawley's <em>Six Madrigals</em>, which was published in 1996.
