Details

This is a compact composition for an instrumental quartet. The Sleeper intermittently opens an eye, indicated by staccato notes, ideally executed in a "beat-box" style where possible, and continues their slumber as comfortably as they can. After all, it's not yet time to wake up. The concluding loud chord may symbolize the sleeper tumbling out of bed! The rendition is carried out by The Budapest Scoring Clarinet Ensemble.
