Mikaelas Polka

Lars Ek, hailing from Stockholm, is widely recognized as one of the most skilled accordionists in Sweden. He has earned a reputation for his exceptional renditions of works by Pietro Frosini and Nisse Lind, as well as his own impressive portfolio of over 100 compositions. Having started his journey with the accordion at the tender age of five, Lars made his radio debut merely a year later in 1953, followed by his television debut in 1958. Over the years, Lars has been employed as an accordionist in various capacities, including as an educator, a musical accompanist for numerous artists, and a touring musician both in Sweden and internationally.
