This composition for recorder orchestra was created for, and showcased by, the Manchester Recorder Orchestra in 2015. It serves as a memento of my period in La Meinau, close to Strasbourg, France, from 1976 to 1977. During this time, my focus was primarily on crafting music for the classical guitar and dabbling in ragtime. Over time, these varied themes evolved into chamber music that ranged from solo, duo, and trio performances to full-scale orchestral pieces.
