Hailing from Stockholm, Lars Ek is acclaimed as one of the finest accordionists in Sweden. He is well-recognized for his exceptional renditions of works by Pietro Frosini, Nisse Lind, and even over 100 of his own compositions. At the tender age of five, Lars embarked on his journey with the accordion, marking his radio debut just a year later in 1953, followed by his television debut in 1958. Lars's career as an accordionist spans various fields, including stints as an educator, a collaborator for numerous artists, and extensive touring in Sweden and internationally.
