Drawing from my casual guitar improvisation using my Isiah sequence, a persistent pattern where the upper chords continuously echo a minor until the final of four bars, at which point they descend to a 7th guiding back to the beginning, and the bass line lowers a semitone for each bar before ascending for the unavoidable repetition.
