Long before the inception of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Cats", I had conceptualized my own rendition of TS Eliot's "Song of the Jellicles" from his compilation, "Old Possum's book of practical cats". The initial plan was to design it for a choir but the estate of T S Eliot restrained me from utilizing the poem in its original form for a choral composition. Nevertheless, they permitted me to incorporate the term "Jellicle" into the titles of my instrumental pieces. Each interpretation closely adheres to the rhythm of the original poem by T S Eliot.
