Jellicle Duo for soprano recorder and guitar (mp3)

Several years prior to Lloyd Webber's composition for "Cats", I crafted my unique musical interpretation for TS Eliot's "Song of the Jellicles", taken from Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats. It was initially designed for a choir, but later I expanded it to include instrumental duos and quartets, all rooted in a lively, playful kitten-like motif. Every rendition remains faithful to the rhythm of T S Eliot's original poem. The audio sample provided features a live performance, with Nigel Tasane playing the recorder and the composer himself on the guitar.
