This obscure composition straddles the line between ragtime (akin to Scott Joplin's style) and stride piano. The composer, James P. Johnson, recorded this manually-played piano roll himself in 1917. We anticipate you'll take pleasure in listening to one of the most accomplished ragtime/jazz pianists of a past age. Additionally, we provide the sheet music for this entertaining and capricious composition, sold separately. Johnson is also known for composing globally renowned pieces such as "Charleston" and "Carolina Shout", which was his personal favorite.
