The organ composition was devised by Sr. Presentia Steffen OSF (1916-2000), a collaborator of Sr. Theophane Hytrek OSF. It is based on the Gregorian Chant Communion antiphon used in Midnight Mass. The Latin phrase "In splendoribus sanctorum, ex utero, ante luciferum, genui te" translates to "Amidst the splendours of the heavenly sanctuary, from the womb, before the morning star, I have begotten you" in English. Although the manuscript doesn't have a specific date, it's likely that it was produced prior to 1950. After Sr. Theophane Hytrek OSF, Sr. Presentia took over as the St. Joseph Co.
