Once our first child came into the world, I understood that my liberty was no longer absolute. I began reminiscing about the carefree past, when my time was my own and my mind could wander freely. In my youth, I dreamt of morphing into a bird, a frog, an ant, or even a newborn bee, but instead, I matured into a man with responsibilities - a wife and a newborn son. Reality was starkly different from my childhood fantasies. I now had a daily obligation to work, not because I enjoyed it, but to keep up with the bills. It seemed as if I was trapped.
