Lars Ek, one of Sweden's top accordion players, is renowned for his exquisite renditions of Pietro Frosini and Nisse Lind's works, as well as his own compositions, numbering over 100! A native of Stockholm, Ek took up the accordion at the age of five and made his radio debut a year later in 1953, followed by his TV debut in 1958! Ek's versatility as an accordionist sees him working in various contexts, including stints as a teacher, accompanist for numerous artists, and extensive touring within Sweden and abroad. He has also been on tour with his pop.
