This is a whimsical a-cappella piece performed by the dwsChorale, inspired by the ancient epigram "Scylla is toothless". In this interpretation, Scylla is reimagined as an old-school headmaster with similar outcomes. The song humorously narrates the story of a headmaster who, in the past, had all his teeth and constantly reprimanded the singer. However, over time, his constant scolding has caused his teeth to wear away. The original epigram, which remains unattributed, dates back to around 1640 and is titled "On an old Scold", featuring Scylla.
