Djupbäckens Ros

Lars Ek, hailing from Stockholm, is considered one of the finest accordionists in Sweden, renowned for his unique renditions of works by Pietro Frosini and Nisse Lind, as well as his own portfolio of over 100 compositions. Having discovered his talent for the accordion at the tender age of 5, he quickly rose to prominence, making his radio debut just a year later in 1953, followed by his television debut in 1958. In his illustrious career, Lars has donned various hats, from being a teacher to an accompanist for a multitude of artists. He has toured extensively within Sweden and internationally, demonstrating his accordion skills in diverse settings.
