This is a selection from a clarinet collection inspired by the Delphine mode. The Delphine mode, originally created for the piece "Modal Madness" for brass quintet, was crafted for horn player Delphine Gauthier-Guiche, and has been adjusted for this clarinet version. Its unique mode initially was a-a#-b-c-c#-f-f#-g, but has been transposed for the clarinet adaptation. This piece is performed by The Budapest Scoring Clarinet Ensemble.
