"Von Gott will ich nicht laßen" or "I will not forsake God" is a poignant and enchanting chorale prelude by Max Reger, designed in an old modal counterpoint. It is arranged for three flutes and a bass flute. Variants for a Woodwind Quintet and String Quartet are also accessible. The performance lasts approximately two minutes.
