This is a guitar solo piece, initially influenced by Adalbert Stifter's Brigitta, a novel centered on inner beauty. The piece was later dedicated to two of my friends, both named Brigitte, at a German church in Northern England. The overall tone of the piece is contemplative and evokes a sense of nostalgia.
