Lars Ek, one of Sweden's top accordion players, is widely recognized for his exceptional renditions of works by Pietro Frosini and Nisse Lind, as well as his own collection of over 100 compositions! Born in Stockholm, Lars started playing the accordion at the tender age of five and made his radio debut just a year later in 1953, followed by his television debut in 1958! He has worked in various capacities as an accordionist, including as a teacher, an accompanist for numerous artists, and has extensively toured both in Sweden and abroad. Lars has also toured with his pop music.
