"Amazing Grace," a beloved Christian hymn, was skillfully arranged for a string quartet by Diau-Hua Lim and beautifully performed at the National Concert Hall in Taipei in 2005, to much acclaim. The performance commences with a commanding cello solo, leading into the second part where the quartet imparts a serene moment of reflection. This is followed by an exquisite interlude from the viola and second violin. Ultimately, the first violin emerges with a fluid melody in blue notes, which gradually dissipates.
