Lars Ek, a renowned accordionist from Sweden, is celebrated for his exceptional interpretations of works by Pietro Frosini and Nisse Lind, as well as his own repertoire of over 100 compositions. Hailing from Stockholm, Lars began his journey with the accordion at the tender age of five and made his radio debut just a year later in 1953, followed by his television debut in 1958. Lars Ek's career as an accordionist spans various roles, including serving as an educator, accompanying numerous artists, and touring extensively both within Sweden and internationally.
