Imaginary Futures

Ten years after the release of their debut album, Sebastian Melmoth presents a record that reimagines their back catalogue as a suite of rave-ready dance floor fillers. While the album title Imaginary Futures, which alludes to the lost potential of disparate creative outcomes, is borrowed from Richard Barbrook’s 2007 book charting the emergence of the internet, it was the production, remix and DJ work of Andrew Weatherall that was the key inspiration for the band’s approach.
