Welcome to the second floor of Rose Library at James Madison University and an aisle featuring ethnographic works. Here, you’ll notice cultural themes from folklore and costume, to music and media. Although you’re alone in the aisle, you’ll begin to hear the people in the books around you walk past. You’ll hear music, sounds and voices from cultures represented in the books around you.
