Mr. Vernon Cypert wrote this song 60 years ago in memory of my Dad Floyd L. Hale who was fatality injured on June 28, 1961 in a farm accident. This song has copy rights at Stamp Quartet formerly Stamp Baxter Music. These two men left me an heritage that not many people have and I am so grateful for my Dad and Vernon. Bob Cypert and Jo Morrison were the apple of his eye and apples don't fall to far from the tree. I hope you enjoy the spirit of the song and be bless as I am in singing the same.
