This orchestral piece is dedicated to all parents. They took on the challenging task of raising a family.I reminisce about the good times as a kid but also the bad and ugly. In the middle section there is a slight pause to remind the listener that we are human and things can go wrong.However, we recover and continue our journey.The flute represents mom and the bassoon represents dad. At times these two play in unison,i.e always in agreement with family matters.
