Sound Picture No 15

This is a depiction of life in a rural village, somewhere in Africa. The shepherd leads his livestock at dusk after a long challenging day. The bleating of sheep, goats, the cow bells now and then, whipping the animals to keep the herd together, all part of moving them towards the kraal. Life is not complicated here and so is the harmonic architecture. The shepherd plays his flute while drawing near to home.
