MY MENTOR

Deontay Gary, also known as Arrogantay, is a successful hairstylist from Chicago. He started doing hair at a young age and eventually went to the Paul Mitchell School to further his skills. After graduating, he opened his own salon in Atlanta called the Falls Experience, which became very successful. Deontay has worked with celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Nicki Minaj and has won awards for his work. He also gives back to the community by hosting masterclasses and inspiring others to follow their dreams. Deontay is considered one of the best hairstylists in the world and has gained a loyal following on social media. Hi, my name is Sabrini Mahi and I will be doing a presentation on my mentor. His name is Deontay Gary, better known as Arrogantay. He is a hairstylist that was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. He was raised by his mother and he has multiple siblings. He has three brothers and I think four sisters. He started doing hair when he was only 11 years old and went on to do his friends and family's hair throughout his middle school and high school years. When he had graduated from high school, he went to the Paul Mitchell School for Hair and Cosmetology to further his education and perfect his craft. After he had graduated from Paul Mitchell, he worked at a salon and saved his money, moved to Atlanta, Georgia to open up a salon with his own money. That was called the Falls Experience, which turned out to be very successful. He has won an award at the BB Icon Awards as Wig Master of the Year. He has become a celebrity hairstylist and has done multiple celebrity hair, such as Lala Anthony, Kim Kardashian, and Nicki Minaj, and many more. He has done a lot for the community, such as hosting masterclasses and trying to encourage people to follow their dreams and help people throughout social media, showcasing his talents and encouraging others to follow their dreams. He has become successful in the hair industry and is known as one of the best hairstylists in the world. He has used social media to his advantage to gain amazing clientele and people that love and support him. That is my current mentor. Thank you. Thank you.
