Welcome to part two of is it God's will for me to be well? I hope it is settled in your heart and spirit that God wants you well. You can only live your best life emotionally, physically, and spiritually through Jesus Christ. I encourage you to read part one again and make certain you understand that sin and brokenness of life is the root cause of dis-ease of every sort in our life. Adam and Eve opened the door to sickness and disease upon mankind as we mentioned in it is God's will for me to be well part 1 number 14. The book of Deuteronomy which is the fifth book in the Old Testament. Let us look particularly at chapter 7. Please read this chapter in your personal study time. Verse 6 God said that he would help his people to defeat the enemy nations. Instruction was given to not give in to the marriage with the enemy, to not desire or serve any other strange gods but Jehovah God himself. He reminded the children of Israel that they were a chosen people above all people of the earth. The children of Israel at times rebelled against God and did exactly what he warned them not to do. Deuteronomy chapter 8 God told them not to forget about who brought them out of bondage time and time again. Verse 19 and it shall be if thou do all. Forgive the Lord thy God and walk after other gods and serve them and worship them. I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish. Disobedience toward God surely opens the door to potential sin and its manifestations thereof through dysfunction of the mind physically and spiritually. Sin makes us more susceptible to sickness and disease. The day that we are born our flesh begins to slowly die physically. Yes it is God's will for you to be well. God's dual redemption plan of salvation and healing wellness is ours for the asking, believing and receiving. Amen. Let us go back to the word to be sure and clear how important it is to God for us to be well. John 12 verse 47 Jesus did not come to the earth to judge man but according to John 3 17 for God sent his son into the world to not condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved. Isaiah 53 and 5 but he was wounded for our transgressions he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our opportunities was upon him and with his stripes on his back we are healed. According to Deuteronomy 7 15 and the Lord will not put none of these diseases upon thee which I have brought upon the Egyptians for I am the Lord that healeth thee. Exodus 15 and 26 and the Lord will take away from thee all sickness and will put none of the evil diseases of the Egyptians which thou knowest upon thee but will lay them upon all them that hate thee. God's desires for all mankind from the beginning to come into the knowledge of the truth just because you see many people suffering sick doesn't mean that God has gone soft or the enemy is has the upper hand. God is the same yesterday today and forever and changes not according to Malachi chapter 3 and 6. Luke 4 18 the spirit of the Lord was upon Jesus he was anointed to preach the gospel to the poor to heal the broken hearted preach deliverance to the captive and recovery of sight to the blind to set at liberty those that are bruised. Jesus ministry reveals the working knowledge and power of God to save man to deliver mankind and to heal everyone that is sick or in dis-ease. Psalms 147 and 3 he is willing and able to heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. Jesus doesn't delight in knowing that his children suffer mentally spiritually or physically. First Peter 2 and 24 who his own self bear our sins in his own body through Jesus his son on the tree on the cross that we being dead to sin should live unto righteousness by whose stripes we were healed now that's past tense amen Jesus took the hit my friend paid the supreme price for sin and sickness on the cross so why can't we just accept that he paid our debt in full. Life's reality moment said in here are some reasons why some people today are not well or don't receive healing. Number one unforgiveness John 10 and 10 the thief which is the devil only comes but to steal kill and destroy let's break it down for you to understand I know what it feels like to get into discord with someone over something very small we have to recognize the origin of things worry doubt and fear may creep into our mind this again is the beginning of dis-ease your physical body reacts to thoughts that come from your brain did you know the devil deals on the level of our thoughts our carnal mind the battlefield of the mind author Joyce Myers it's a good read and you really should check it out when we lean on our own understanding and not acknowledge God our negative emotions will increase our heart rate turn our stomachs raise our blood pressure even if we let it you've heard someone say oh I'm so stressed out being in a state of stress sends off negative feedback to the entire body your body tries to handle it but by God's design cannot handle for long stress is the breeding ground to all kinds of health issues sickness and disease these are real situations people are going through I am totally right and I don't forgive that person for calling me stupid I will never speak to them again the ones closest to us may hurt us to the core steal from us take us to court and pull the family dirty laundry out for all to see and hear oh my goodness that co-worker stole all my R&D research papers claimed them from their own ideas and got chosen can you believe that for the new VP position I will never never forgive them I hope they crash and burn after raising my children and giving them the shirt off my back now that I am in up in age they don't have any time for me at all I am so sorry that I brought them into the world they are so ungrateful Matthew 6 and 12 and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors forgive us of our sins as we forgive others of their sins everyone has a clean slate Luke 6 and 37 judge not and ye shall not be judged condemn not and ye shall not be condemned forgive and ye shall forgive be forgiven trust and treat others how you want to be treated it always comes back to you Luke 23 and 34 Jesus said father forgive them for they know not what they do some people do the things they do and don't think about the consequences or impact it may have on others 1st John 1 and 9 if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness it's plain if we admit our wrong doings to the Lord he will surely clean us up and give us a brand new start in our spirit walk a new spirit will produce a new beginning the word homeostasis is a term I learned in medical training homeostasis means to be in a state of well-being God has made it clear from the beginning of time we should be in a state of well-being we must forgive others then we can freely receive our healing temptation from sin everyone has been tempted living in this world James chapter 1 verse 13 let no man say when he is tempted I am tempted of God for God cannot be tempted with evil neither tempted he any man verse 14 but every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed verse 15 when lust hath conceived it bringeth forth sin and sin when it is finished bringeth forth death very plain yield or not to yield to temptation Adam and Eve in Eden Genesis chapter 3 losing their identity in Christ was a hard thing but they they made it in the end King David was tempted with Uriah's wife 2nd Samuel chapter 11 King David went through much emotional pain and suffering but God brought him through just because we are tempted and sometimes fall doesn't disqualify us from being healed well and living a long life victory over temptation Job was tempted in the land of us Job is found in the Old Testament in the 18th book all his children earthly possessions health was taken from him but he did not leave God the ultimate temptation was Jesus tempted of the devil in the wilderness a high mountain in the pinnacle of the temple St. Luke chapter 4 Jesus did not yield to the devil and came out victorious for his father and all mankind stay on track with your mission in life pays great dividends in the end being blind spiritually being blind in the terms of knowledge means it is hidden from your thoughts understanding is not being impacted from the truth of a matter some people are ignorant to a concept some people have heard but don't believe it 2nd Corinthians chapter 4 verse 4 in whom the God of this world have blinded the minds of them which believe not lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of God should shine unto them it might be tradition we never heard it like that before my mother was sick with XYZ condition her mother was sick with XYZ condition and her mother before her was sick with it since they were sick with it I will probably get it as well this is a true story I had a dear co-worker at the hospital who worked in the department next to mine she was a thriving beautiful young lady who loved the Lord we would enjoy one another's company and talking about hospital news well you know gossip you know one day she shared with me that she received a bad report of cancer from her last mammogram exam she shared that her grandmother died from it then later on her sister had it as well lunch meetings turned into prayers to God getting her and her family through all of it during that time I felt hopeless and did not know what to say to her she did pass on and I know she is in heaven today she always would talk about her diet was not the best she would talk about her son's father who she was divorced from there was often tense moments in that fractured relationship she was stressed at times as well we must learn to separate ourselves divorce ourselves from situations being so involved that includes me Lord help me to step back step back and hide in the shadow of your wings Satan is the author of brokenness of life and I won't take it back John chapter 26 about Thomas initially Thomas did not believe Jesus arose and made himself known to some people Thomas had to touch Jesus before he believed some of us today our thoughts are shrouded with unbelief that God is with us he is willing wanting and certainly able to help us in our time of need John 20 verses 26 and 31 Jesus helped Thomas through his weakness to believe and receive Jesus says to all of mankind that it is good to believe on him Jesus also said that blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed amen then there might be some who feel that they don't deserve it who forgives all thy iniquities who heals all thy diseases emotional mindset I don't deserve it I discount myself leaning on my own understanding Proverbs 23 and 7 for as he thinketh in his heart so is he what have you done that is so bad that you are not eligible to receive God's dual redemption plan of salvation and wellness healing might be in keeping ourself in bondage Romans 8 and 7 for it to be finally carnally minded is death but to be spiritually minded is life and peace he must be more spiritually minded not fleshly minded Ephesians 4 and 23 be renewed in the spirit of your mind renew your mind around that those truths in God's Word Hebrews 11 is 6 but without faith it is impossible to please him for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him he has made us worthy to receive his gift of salvation and help Jesus has made us worthy amen who are we to say that we're not worthy Romans 8 and 15 for ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear but ye have received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry Abba fathers since God is our father we will he will help us in our time of need his word always tells us not to fear sometimes Satan tries to bring spirit of fear on me and I put it under my feet our father wants us to have abundant life God get his son Jesus was given as a ransom for the sins of the world God's dual redemption plan to wipe away all sin sickness and disease is freely given and shared with everyone who will believe and accept it God wants you to have it so take it by faith and lastly we mentioned faith some people don't have faith this is a big stumbling block or a hindrance to our healing Hebrews 11 6 but without faith it is impossible to please him for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him if you don't have faith you cannot please God it's that simple don't believe you are going to receive from God when you don't believe that he can and will faith is a basic fundamental of the connecting with God you have to believe he exists next time we will walk we will talk about the many miracles Jesus brought to the people the witnesses are very encouraging and exciting are you ready for your healthy tip for today was a long lesson today write down a time in your life when God healed you from sickness emotional sickness or physical sickness then thank him for what he has done God is there ever present
