Nothing to say, yet
The speaker had a negative work experience and decided to overcome it with two strategies. The first strategy is to stop seeking approval from others. They quoted Mary Forleo, who said that people try to conform to others' views. The speaker believes that humans are constantly judging. They suggest that we can't change how others perceive us, so we should focus on improving ourselves and not care about what others think. We should be true to ourselves, focus on our goals, and not waste energy on others' opinions. We should follow our inner voice and not let others disturb our inner peace. Now, after having such a negative work exposure, I decided to get over with this concern by applying two smart strategies. Firstly, I decided to stop chasing people's approval. Now, here, please let me quote one of the most famous American author, Mary Forleo, who said that humans are social animals. They always try to pretend others according to their point of view. I think that this quote is right up to some extent because humans are nowadays acting like judging machines. So, what if they are judging us based on their past experiences, as we can't change their way of perceiving us, nor we can't change their past mental patterns and the way of thinking. Hence, by just focusing on improving ourselves and shaping us into that particular work environment without taking care of what other people will think can help us to address this issue. We should be true to ourselves and stop chasing others' approval. We must focus on our specific purpose and goals and should not waste our time and energy on focusing on what others are thinking about us. We must go with our inner voice and shouldn't let others to disrupt our inner peace.
