Whoever Shows Up

Daddy's Beach Club in Hull, Massachusetts is a popular local spot that hosts a unique bluegrass band called Whoever Shows Up. The band started ten years ago with five members, but now has six core members and many regulars. This band is very unique and its name holds a lot of significance. At Daddy's Beach Club, they allow anyone who shows up, hence the name, and has a string instrument to join their band for the night. This event was very magical to see, so many different people and instruments come together to sing, laugh, and dance. The band originated ten years ago when five members met at the beach club and played together. More and more people started to come to their gigs, and eventually the band grew larger and stronger. There are now six core members of the band, but many others are weekly regulars. It was such a friendly and inviting environment that I was so lucky to experience. This band is one-of-a-kind, and I strongly advise anyone who enjoys live music or bluegrass to check them out.
