Richard Marsh
Richard Marsh, whose real name was Richard Bernard Heldmann, was a British author well-known for his works during the late Victorian and early Edwardian era. He was a very successful and prolific writer, and his popularity was on par with other well-known authors of his time such as Marie Corelli. One of his most famous works is a supernatural thriller called The Beetle, which was published in 1897, the same year as Bram Stoker's Dracula. The Beetle was initially even more popular than Dracula and remains a well-known work today.
