And our spiritual bullet for today is titled, Spiritual Tournament. Spiritual Tournament. And our text the book, Second Kings, chapter four, verse seven. So he came and told the man of God, and he said, Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left. The widow in this passage was in deep distress. Her husband had passed away, leaving her with insurmountable debt. She had nothing left except a jar of oil. Her situation seemed impossible, much like how we may feel when we face seemingly insurmountable challenges in our life. Now, the turning point. The widow turned to the man of God, Elijah. When she sought his guidance, he provided a profound solution. Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left. This statement marks a turning point in our life, and it can be a prophetic message for us too, as you are going out this morning. And this week, it will be what we give you a tournament. Let us look at some lessons from this spiritual tournament that happened in the life of this widow. Number one, seek guidance. Just as the widow turned to Elijah, we should divine guidance when faced with difficulties. Turning to God and a wise spiritual leader can provide direction. Number two, a miracle in ordinary things. The widow had only a jar of oil, which seemed insignificant. Yet, God turned it into a source of provision. Sometimes, God uses the ordinary things in our life to perform extraordinary miracles. Number three, debt cancellation. In the spiritual realm, we all have debts, sins and bodies. Just as Elijah provided a way to pay off the widow's financial debt, God provides a way for us to be forgiven and set free from our spiritual debts through faith in Jesus Christ. Accepting him as our Lord and personal Savior can give us debt cancellation, which will free us from sin and power of darkness. Number four, abundance provisions. The Lord not only paid off her debt, but also provided for her and her sons. God's blessings often overflow when we trust in him. Another thing that we need to consider is living on what is left. The leftover oil sustained the widow and her family. When we surrender to God, we may find that we have no more than enough to live a blessed life. But let me tell you, God will turn everything that you call leftover around and it will turn to overflow. Today, as you are going out in this beginning of the new week, let this word be a prophetic reminder that even in our most challenging moment, God has a plan for our turnaround, seeking trust in his provisions and know that your situation can be transformed. Your jar of oil may seem small, but in God's hand, it can bring about spiritual turnaround and overflowing abundance that exceeds your imagination and make you a source of blessing for multitude of people around you.
